Working in Pressbooks is similar to working within a learning management systems such as Blackboard or Moodle. MacEwan University Library maintains an installation of Pressbooks for the MacEwan community to use at no-charge.\r\n\r\nIn addition to providing users with a platform for creating original content, users can make copies of existing open textbooks that use Pressbooks software (including those listed in the <a href=\"https:\/\/pressbooks.directory\">Pressbooks Directory<\/a>) and modify them to meet their needs.\r\n\r\nOnce a book is ready for publication, Pressbooks will output a completed textbook as a mobile-friendly website, and other formats including an ePub document (for use in e-readers), and a PDF (for printing).\r\n<div class=\"textbox\">To work within Pressbooks, users require an account, which is set up by MacEwan University Library.
