Community Cultural Development and Engagement
This is a collection of essays and interviews in a multi-disciplinary approach exploring community cultural development and engagement through a Canadian and global lens.
It brings together administrators, event managers, curators, planners, cultural creatives, Canadian First Nations peoples and educators from around the world, to offer differing perspectives on the many facets of community development and engagement in the evolving field of the creative industries. As such, this book offers a survey of current practice in community cultural development and engagement, acknowledging that this work will develop and change through time.
Community Cultural Development and Engagement will be of interest to students and scholars of event and festival management, community engagement, community development, urban and rural regeneration, urban planning, design and arts and cultural and heritage management interested in engaging with community.
