End your proposal with a list of any materials (e.g., scholarly articles and books) you cited in the introduction. Since the study is still in a preliminary stage, students sometimes refer to this as a list of \u201cWorking References\u201d or \u201cProspective References.\u201d In this case, the list can also include references you plan to include (perhaps in the discussion), or that you currently think are relevant. This helps your instructor and others such as members of a research ethics board determine your familiarity with the key theorists, research, and methodologies relevant to the proposed area of study.<\/p>\r\n
