The Heart Sinew Channel and associated anatomy

  1. This sinew channel starts on the distal palmar aspect of the fifth finger at the attachment of the flexor digiti minimi brevis, picking up the attachment of the opponensĀ  digiti minimi, it binds at the wrist. From here it continues up the medial aspect of the forearm to bind at the medial epicondyle of the elbow. (Anatomy: Flexor digiti Minimi brevis, Opponens digiti minimi)
  2. From the medial epicondyle, this sinew channel travels up the medial intermuscular septum (with the Pericardium sinew channel) to the bicipital groove. It then travels to the center of the chest via the pectoralis major. (Anatomy: Medial intermuscular septum, Pectoralis major)
